Abstract: Time series forecasting has been recently used in problems of celestial mechanics and astrodynamics. Here, we will discuss recent applications for predicting solar activities and planetary amplitudes for studying the effect of drag perturbations on LEO satellites and classifying orbits close to Near-Earth asteroids.
Safwan Aljbaae graduated in Mathematics from the University of Damascus in Syria and moved to Paris observatory in France to obtain his Master’s and PhD degrees in Celestial Mechanics. He then worked as Post-Doc in the UNESP-FEG and INPE. He is currently a data scientist at 2RPNet.
